WorkDay - 3/14/10
Our second big work day! Building docks to prepare for the Seawind Region 3 Championships. GMYC is hosting them 5/21-5/23. We managed to construct the first of three semi-mobile launching / retrieval platforms by re-utilizing some pressure treated machinery skids from Hartness International. These were slated to be discarded and had already been reduced with a chainsaw to a perfect 7' x 7' dimension. Knowing that the water would be cold - I wore these red shorts hoping they would at least feel warm (it didn't).
